Cathedral Canterbury

The Cathedral of Canterbury is located in the United Kingdomand was founded by the archbishop St Augustine of Canterbury in 602. It has had many aditions to the original gothic design since it was built. A library was the latest addition to the cathedral which was also destroyed in the second world war when it was hit by a bomb. Thomas Becket was murdered in the north-east transept 29 December 1170 by king Henry II knights. The cathedral these days is weathered and falling apart and many think it needs to be repaired now before permanent damage is done and the cathedral isn't safe for use.
